Enjoy imaginative floral interpretations of selected works of art from MIA's permanent <br />collection, created by more than 100 commercial florists and individual artists. This is a <br />self-guided experience throughout the campus. There is a Gift Store and a Café. MIA <br />inspires wonder through the power of art. The Minneapolis Institute of Art enriches the <br />community by collecting, preserving, and making accessible outstanding works of art <br />from the world’s diverse cultures. <br />The museum has seven curatorial areas: Arts of Africa & the Americas; Contemporary Art; <br />Decorative Arts, Textiles & Sculpture; Asian Art; Paintings; Photography and New Media; <br />and Prints and Drawings. <br />We will then head to Jax Café which has been serving Minnesotans since 1933. It is a <br />landmark that was established by Stanley Kozlak. He left Poland as a teenager and <br />established a restaurant business that would support three generations after him. <br />Lunch Menu: Baked Chicken with Mashed Potatoes, Gravy and Vegetable, or a <br />Vegetarian Option.
