No action is requested. <br />BACKGROUND <br />Upcoming Youth Activities <br />Winter Registration for RevSports Basketball is currently open. Spring activity registration will <br />open on February 1. Spaces are limited, so sign up today! <br />Upcoming Adult Activities <br />-Master Gardener Class: These virtual classes are typically held once a month. Upcoming <br />class topics are: <br />o January 23: Winter Sowing <br />o February 27: All About Seeds <br />o March 26: Introduction to Vegetable Gardening <br />o <br />-Morning Talks: Join the City of Little Canada’s Parks and Recreation Department, <br />Roseville Area Senior Programs, and Monarch <br />Healthcare Management on the first Tuesday of the <br />month (except January) at the Aŋpétu Téča <br />Education Center in Roseville for an educational <br />speaker series from 9-10 AM. Monarch Healthcare <br />will provide free blood pressure testing from 8:30- <br />9:00 AM. Our upcoming talks include: <br />o February 6: Day of Remembrance for <br />Japanese Americans During WWII <br />o March 5: From North Star to GPS <br />o April 2: Loons: Echoes of Serenity and <br />Secrets of the North American Waters <br />o May 7: Healthy Living for Your Brain and Body <br />-Adult Trips: Partnering with the surrounding cities' Parks & Recreation Department we <br />are excited to offer our residents the opportunity for adult trips throughout the year. <br />o February 7- Coach Bus Trip: St. Paul’s Grandious Homes, History and Flavor <br />o February 8- Mini Trip: Million Dollar Quartet at the Old Log Theater <br />o March 12- Coach Bus Trip: Irish Descendants in St. Paul <br />o March 14- Mini Trip: Mill City Museum, Malcolm Yards, and Como Zoo
