MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />SEPTEMBER 25, 2024 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, <br />Minnesota was convened on the 25th day of September 2024 in the Council Chambers of the City <br />Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Tom Fischer called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following members of the City <br />Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Fischer, Council Members T. Miller, Kwapick, Gutierrez and D. Miller. <br />Absent: None, <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Chris Heineman, Community Relations Manager Lauran <br />Linehan, and City Clerk/HR Manager Heidi Heller. <br />AGENDA <br />Mayor Fischer requested to change the agenda, flipping the order of the Closed Session and Council <br />Updates, so that the Closed Session occurs after the Council Updates. <br />Upon motion by Mayor Fischer, seconded by T. Miller, to amend the agenda, changing the place <br />of the Council Updates and Closed Session. <br />Ayes (5). Nays (0). Motion adopted. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />T. Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2024-9-105— APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE SEPTEMBER <br />11, 2024 WORKSHOP AND THE SEPTEMBER 11, 2024 REGULAR MEETINGS AS <br />SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Kwapick, <br />Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />The City Administrator stated that the following night they will host Movie in the Park at Pioneer Park, <br />and the movie Wish will be featured. <br />The Community Relations Manager reported that the citywide inclusion survey is live and welcomed <br />residents to complete the survey online or in person at City Hall. She also welcomed the new fellow <br />working with the City from ICMA on local sustainability issues. She noted that Little Canada is one of <br />three cities in Minnesota to participate in the fellow program. <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />None. <br />
