MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 25, 2024 <br />COUNCIL REPORTS AND MEETING UPDATES <br />Gutierrez provided an update on the most recent meeting for the Fire Long Range Planning <br />Committee. She expressed appreciation for the Little Canada Fire Department, which is unique and a <br />special asset of the community. <br />Mayor Fischer agreed. <br />T. Miller provided an update on the most recent session of RCGLI focused on Al. <br />D. Miller stated that he also attended that session and found it informational. He provided an update <br />on the most recent meeting of the Cable Commission. <br />Mayor Fischer provided an update on the most recent Metro Cities meeting. <br />CALL FOR A CLOSED SESSION WITH CITY ATTORNEY FOLLOWING THE COUNCIL <br />MEETING REGARDING THE PROPERTY AT 201 LITTLE CANADA ROAD EAST <br />Mayor Fischer commented that the Council will be closing this meeting and then completing a closed <br />session for the purpose described. <br />Kwapick introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2024-9-110 — CALLING FOR A CLOSED SESSION PURSUANT TO <br />MINNESOTA STATUTES 13D.05, SUBD. 3(c), TO DEVELOP OR CONSIDER OFFERS <br />OR COUNTEROFFERS FOR THE PURCHASE OR SALE OF REAL PROPERTY <br />LOCATED AT 201 LITTLE CANADA ROAD EAST. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Kwapick. <br />Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ADJOURN <br />There being no further business, upon motion by Mayor Fischer, seconded by T.
