MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY C.OiJNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JULY 22, 2009 <br />MINUTES <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 22nd day of <br />July, 2009 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor Bill Blesener called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Council Member Ms. Shelly Boss <br />Council Member Mr. John Keis <br />Council Member Mr. Michael McGraw <br />ABSENT: Council Member Mr. Rick Montour <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br />City Attorney Mr. Trevor Oliver <br />City Planner Mr. Steve Grittman <br />Cable TV Prod. Mr. Kevin Helander <br />City Clerk Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br />Mr. McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2009-7-164 -APPROVING THE MINUTES OF <br />THE JULY 8, 2009 WORKSHOP COUNCIL MEETING AND THE <br />JULY 8, 2009 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETINGAS SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Boss. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CANADIAN Mayor Blesener announced that this year's Canadian Days Celebration <br />DAYS will be held in Spooner Park on July 31, August 1, and 2, 2009. Buttons <br />are available for sale at the City Center and many local businesses. T'he <br />button card contains a detailed schedule of Canadian Days events. <br />LEGISLATOR Mayor Blesener announced that the League of Minnesota Cities has <br />OF declared Representative Beverly Scalze as a 2009 League of Minnesota <br />DISTINCTION- Cities Legislator of Distinction. Some of Representative Scalze's work <br />KEPRESENT- work during the 2009 Session included advocating for local control and <br />ATIVE assisting in advancing many League initiatives including administrative <br />
