Fahey stated that <br /> there are certain tenantso rights the City should protect. Both the <br /> tenant and the landlord could be given a copy of the ordinance' and <br /> the landlord must comply with it. <br /> :Mayor Manson stated 'that each Counci:lrnember should review the proposed <br /> ordinance, <br /> Hoffman Parks reported to the Council that Nir. Hoffman has received a citation <br /> f~iaatter for failing to comply with the City~s clean up order. CounciLma.n <br /> tahey suggested that the City cite 2~1r. Hoffman9 and then perhaps he <br /> will realize the City means business. <br /> a~9r. Parks reported to the Council that the matter will go 'to trial in <br /> about six weeks. <br /> Hamel 'i'he Hamel case is set for a pre-trial conference in Court on January <br /> 3~iatter 149 19&0. <br /> Sleepy Parks reported that a meeting of the principals involved in the Sleepy <br /> Hollor~r TIo11ow drainage problem has been set for 11;00 on January 11. <br /> Drainage <br /> Jenny Attorney Parks informed the Council that T~;rs. Costa reported that <br /> Costa NIatt~s Diesel Service was still operation beyond the December 319 1979 <br /> Cornplairzts deadline that the Council unposed, lair. Yar4cs t`rren reported that he <br /> called the sheriff regarding this, and was informed that Maths Diesel <br /> Service had been given a citation, Matthew Patriclt stated earlier in <br /> the rrreeting that he never received a citation, Parlcs instructed the <br /> sheriff's department to patrol the business every day to ensure they <br /> were not operating, Parks then talked to Lt. Hwnphrey of the sheriffs <br /> department and was told that Humphrey had not heard anything on the <br /> matter a.nd thought nothing needed to be done. <br /> Council expressed its d.issatis£action with the service the City got <br /> from the sheriff s department in this matter, <br /> idayor Ranson stated ttrat there was a mayors meeting conrins,= up wit'rr <br /> -the sheriffos department and that he would bring this subject up at <br /> that meeting. Councilman lleLace stated that the City should document <br /> the situation tirith a letter. Fahey suggested that a copy of -the <br /> letter be sent to t•rs.
