St would be until about <br /> September before 'the Clty would xnow if their applica:ti.on was approved. <br /> I.f' approved9 it rrrould be early 1981 before the dravrings for the <br /> building would be ready. <br /> Councilman De;;ace asked who would determine the number of units <br /> the building would be, iGlr, mice responded that this ,•rould be <br /> worked out jointly, One of the considerations irould be the land <br /> cost and the number of dollars per unit, if there was a very high <br /> land. cos't9 you vrould want to put more units on :it. I~ir, mice stated <br /> that the 1~0 to 60 unit range is a comfortable one, <br /> Councilman k'ahey asked about -the possibility of a. 'two story building, <br /> DeF3ace replied that this isn9t practical ox economical 'to put up a <br /> tiro story building vrS.th an elevator, One of the requirements for <br /> a seniox citizen housing development is that the building have a,n <br /> elevator. I~ir, 3ice stated that the building should be three®story <br /> and above gxound due to harrdicapped requirements, <br /> Fahey asked if cormnuni.ty development block grants would be availab:ie <br /> for part of the land for park and the other for senior citizen housing. <br /> Nlr.
