MIPlUTES OF TfIE SPECIAL MEETING <br /> PLANNING CUPIP4ISSIQid APID CITY COUNCIL <br /> LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br /> January 3l, 1980 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting of the <br /> Planning Commission and the Council of the City of.Little Canada, <br /> Minnesota was held on the 31st day of January, 1980, in 'the <br /> Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada <br /> Road in said City. <br /> Mayor Raymond I-Janson chaired and called the meeting to order at <br /> 7:~a5 P.M. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> MEMBERS PRESENTS Mayor Mr. Raymond Flanson <br /> Councilman Mr. Robert DeBace <br /> Councilman Mr. Michael Fahey <br /> Councilman Mr. Roy Nadeau, Jr. <br /> Councilwoman Mrs. Kathleen Glanzer <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. Peter Costa <br /> Mr. Gene Delonais <br /> Mr. Dennis Forsberg <br /> Mr. Joseph Vitale, Jr. <br /> PLANNING COMMISSION MEMBERS ABSENT: Mr. Richard Boss <br /> Mrs. Virginia Fisher. <br /> Mr. Ralph Nardini <br /> Mr. Jack Radford <br /> Mr.. Frank Winieki <br /> ALSO PRESENT: City Attorney Mr. Clayton Parks <br /> Planner Mr. Brad Nielson <br /> Recording Secretary Mrs. Kathleen Glanzer <br /> ABSENT: City Clerk Mr. Joseph Chlebeck <br /> Status Of Mr. Brad Nielson reported to the Council that Midwest Planning and <br /> <br /> Midwest Research has gone out-of-business. The firm has filed bankruptcy. <br /> Planning Dave Licht, the former president of Midwest Planning, has now revived <br /> a dormant corporation by the name of Northwest Associated Consultants. <br /> Mr. Nielson is now associated with Northwest Associated Consultants <br /> also. <br /> Mr. Nielson is proposing that Northwest Associated Consultants finish <br /> the work on Little Canada's Comprehensive Plan for whatever. amount of <br /> money is left in the budget. Northwest Associated Consultants will <br /> submit to the Council for their review a Technical Assistance contract <br /> for on-going planning assistance. This will be submitted to the City <br /> by February 6, and the Council can take action on the appointment of <br /> a new planner at the February l3, 1980 regular Council meeting. <br /> Page -1- <br /> <br />
