<br /> MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> March q, 19II0 <br /> Inspections Mayor Hanson reported that two or three times per year it is necessary <br /> Of for the Fire Marshall to make inspections of a sprinkler system. The <br /> Sprinkler question has come up regarding whether the Fire Marshall should be <br /> Systems compensated for these inspections. Most of the City's other inspecters <br /> are compensated at a rate of 80% of the inspection fee. <br /> The Mayor also stated that the Fire Marshall is currently compensated <br /> at a rate of X150.00 per month. <br /> Councilman DeBace stated that these sprinkler inspections do not amount <br /> to much work. It is usually just checking a pressure gauge ~ make <br /> sure the system is holding a certain amount of pressure for a certain <br /> amount of time. <br /> Counci'I dicl not feel that the fire Marshall should be compensated for <br /> these inspections above the $150.00 per month that he is currently <br /> receiving. <br /> Trash Claire Renner has contacted the City regarding 'the Girl Scouts cleaning <br /> Clean-Up up trash on Lake Gervais. She would like to know when the best time <br /> On Lake would be for the clean-up and if the City would haul the trash away. <br /> Gervais <br /> Councilman De6ace suggested that the Utility Department contact Renner <br /> regarding setting up a time for the trash clean-up and arranging for <br /> the hauling away of the trash with the City truck. <br /> Mr. De6ace introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. IIO-3-103 - AUTHORIZING THE USE OF THE CITY <br /> TRUCK TO PICK UP THE TRASH COLLECTED BY THE GIRL SCOUTS <br /> ON LAKE GERVAIS <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br /> Ayes (5) DeBace, Scalze, Hanson, Nadeau, Fahey. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book Mo. 6, Page 66. <br /> Dick Boss, Mayor Flanson reported that Dick Boss, Sr., the City's Fire Chief, is <br /> Sr. in the hospital. Mr. Flanson reported that he would send flowers to <br /> P4r. boss on behalf of the Council, and Councilmembers could then <br /> reimburse Mr. Hanson for their share of the cost. <br /> Page -5- <br /> <br />
