<br /> MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> (Cont'd.) <br /> March 12, 1980 <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Nadeau. <br /> Ayes (5) Fahey, Nadeau, Scalze, Flanson, DeBace. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 6II• <br /> Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0.80-3-107 - APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE <br /> FEBRUARY 27, 1980 SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Nadeau. <br /> Ayes (5) Scalze, Nadeau, Hanson, DeBace, Fahey. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 68. <br /> Mr. Fahey indicated that the phrase "because the City would be <br /> exceeding levy limitations if it purchased the building" should be <br /> added to the end of the first sentence of paragraph 8 on page 6 <br /> of the March 4, 1980 minutes. <br /> Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-3-108 - APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE <br /> MARCH 4, 1980 SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING SUBJECT TO TFIE <br /> OUTLINED CORRECTION <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Nadeau. <br /> Ayes (5) Fahey, Nadeau, DeBace, Scalze, Flanson. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 69. <br /> P & R Mr. Dan O'Brien representing P & R Investment appeared before the <br /> Investment Council requesting approval of the remodeling of the office building <br /> located on County Road C and Park Street. Mr. O'Brien stated that <br /> Remodeling due to the remodeling, the parking lot will be short five spaces <br /> Office of parking as required under the City Code. Therefore, approval <br /> Building of the remodeling will also require a variance for five parking <br /> spaces. <br /> Mr. O'Brien informed the Council that the remodeling is being done <br /> to create more space for the building's present ~nants. <br /> Councilman DeBace commented that something should be done about the <br /> sign situation for this building. It seems that each tenant of the <br /> building has their own separate sign in front of the building. <br /> Councilwoman Scalze suggested that the Council require that the <br /> building have one sign on which its tenants would be listed. <br /> Page -2- <br /> <br />
