<br /> MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> (Cont'd.) <br /> March 12, 19II0 <br /> The Planning Commission recommended approval of this proposed remodeling. <br /> Councilman DeBace also stated that the building immediately adjacent <br /> to this building has the same situation with its signs. <br /> Mr. Nadeau introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-3-109 - APPROVING THE REP~ODELING PROJECT <br /> PROPOSED BY P & R INVESTMENT WITH TFIE REQUIREMENT THAT A <br /> PERFORPIANCE BOND BE SUBMITTED FOR THE PROPOSED LANDSCAPING <br /> AND THAT A VARIANCE OF FIVE PARKING SPACES ALSO BE GRANTED <br /> FOR THE PROJECT <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. DeBace. <br /> Ayes Nadeau, DeBace, Hanson, Scalze. <br /> Nayes (1) Fahey. <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Pages 69 and 70. <br /> Councilman Fahey was opposed to this resolution as it contained no <br /> provision for correcting the signing situation for the building. <br /> Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-3-110 - PLACING A FURTHER CONDITION ON <br /> APPROVAL OF THE PROPOSED ADDITION BY P & R INVESTMENT <br /> THAT P & R INVESTMENT 6E REQUIRED TO SUBMIT TO TFIE CITY <br /> COUNCIL A SATISFACTORY PROPOSAL FOR CORRECTING TFIE PRESENT <br /> DISARRAY OF SIGNS THAT ARE IN FRONT OF THE BUILDING AND <br /> TFIAT THE CITY CLERK SEND A LETTER TO THE OWNER OF THE <br /> ADJACENT BUILDING INFORMING HIM TO COOPERATE WITH P & R <br /> INVESTMENT TO GET A PROPER SIGN SITUATION AS HIS PRESENT <br /> SIGNS ARE IN VIOLATION OF CITY CODE <br /> THE foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br /> Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, Hanson, DeBace, Nadeau. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution book No. 6, Page 70. <br /> Don Gagne Mayor Hanson reported that the Planning Commission is recommending <br /> Proposal postponement of any action on the Don Gagne proposal until they receive <br /> further information. Mr. Gagne is requesting permission to build a <br /> house on commercial property. <br /> Paul Mayor Flanson mentioned to the Council that they have copies of a <br /> Sprosty letter the Watershed District sent to Paul Sprosty on his landfilling <br /> activities. The Watershed District is giving Mr. Sprosty beneficial <br /> direction in his filling activities. <br /> Page -3- <br /> <br />
