<br /> MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> (Cont.) <br /> April 9, 1980 <br /> Councilman DeBace stated that Mr. Gagne should check with Metro Sewer <br /> regarding sewer service to the proposed home. <br /> The City Clerk asked if Mr. Gagne would have to dedicate 30 feet for <br /> a road. DeBace stated that Mr. Gagne only would need acess to the <br /> home. DeBace stated that if Mr. Gagne came in with a property division <br /> in the future, he would probably have to have a road. <br /> Councilman Fahey suggested that the Engineer take a look at this. <br /> Mr. Nadeau introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-4-142 - CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE <br /> PROPOSED REZONING FROM B-2 TO R-1 FOR MAY 14, 1980 OF THAT <br /> PART OF THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED TRACT OF LAND EXCEPT THE <br /> EAST 174.98 THEREOF AND EXCEPT THE NORTH 516.5 FEET OF THE <br /> WEST 196 FEET THEREOF. COMMENCING AT A POINT ON THE NORTH <br /> LINE OF THE SE 1/4 OF SECTION 6, T29N, R22W 53 RODS (87p~.5 <br /> FEET) WEST OF TFIE NORTHEAST CORNER THEREOF, THENCE WEST 10 A <br /> POINT 1295.5 FEET EAST OF THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SAID 1/4 <br /> SECTION, TFIEMCE SOUTH TO RIGHT-OF-WAY OF ST. PAUL WATER b10RKS, <br /> THENCE SOUTHEAST ALONG SAID RIGHT-OF-WAY TO A POINT DUE SOUTH <br /> OF BEGINNING, TFIENCE DUE NORTH TO BEGINNING. EXCEPT THE <br /> EASTERLY PORTION TAKEN FOR INTERSTATE HIGFIWAY 35E. <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br /> Ayes (5) Nadeau, Scalze, Flanson, Fahey, DeBace. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 92. <br /> Key Stone Mr. Newton Norby appeared before the Council requesting approval to <br /> Car Wash convert the Key Stone Car Wash from a car washing operation to an <br /> auto rustproofing and po1yglycoating service. <br /> The Planning Commission recommended approval of a special use permit <br /> for this request at their regular meeting on April 3. <br /> Mr. Norton informed the Council that there would be no fumes from this <br /> operation. Mr. Newton also stated that the barrels resulting from the <br /> operation of the business would be 35 lb. barrels and would be hauled <br /> away. <br /> Mr. DeBace introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-4-143 - APPROVING THE REQUEST TO CHANGE <br /> TFIE KEY STONE CAR WASH FROM AN AUTO WASHING OPERATION TO <br /> AN AUTOMOBILE RUSTPROOFING AND POLYGLYCOATING SERVICE <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Nadeau. <br /> Ayes (5) DeBace, Nadeau, Hanson, Fahey, Scalze. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 93.
