<br /> MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> (Cont.) <br /> May 14, 1980 <br /> The City Clerk asked Mr. Gagne how he proposed to get utilities to <br /> his proposed house. Mr. Gagne stated that he would like to hook up <br /> to City sewer, but that he did not want City water. <br /> The Engineer suggested that Mr. Gagne check the sewer plans for the <br /> Southern Slopes addition. <br /> Mr. DeBace introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-5-167 - APPROVING THE REZONING OF THE <br /> PORTION OF THE GAGNE PROPERTY IN QUESTION FROM B-2 TO <br /> R-1 WITH THE PROVISION THAT MR. GAGNE SETS TFIE FIOUSE HE <br /> PROPOSED TO BUILD SO THAT IT IS NOT WITHIN 60 FEET FROM <br /> THE WEST BOUNDARY LINE OF HIS PROPERTY <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Nadeau. <br /> Ayes (5) DeBace, Nadeau, Scalze, Fahey, Hanson. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 108. <br /> Mr. Gagne informed the Council that when a piece of property is down- <br /> zoned to residential, building must begin within 90 days or the property <br /> reverts to its previous zoning. Mr. Gagne asked the Council for a <br /> waiver of that 90 day provision. <br /> Council did not waive this provision, but told Mr. Gagne that if he <br /> needed an extension at the end of the 90 day period, he should inform <br /> them and an extension would be granted. <br /> Garage Mrs. Gore appeared before the Council requesting a set back variance <br /> Set Back so that she could build a garage on her property. <br /> Variance <br /> Mrs. Gore Mayor Hanson suggested that the Building Inspector should look at the <br /> Gore's proposal. Councilpersons Fahey and Scalze stated that they <br /> would like to look at the property to get a better idea ofi where <br /> the garage would be located and the situation of the property. <br /> Councilman DeBace suggested that Mrs. Gore have the Building Inspector <br /> look at the proposal and the property in question. Councilman Nadeau <br /> stated that the building Inspector might be able to help the Gore's <br /> situate the garage so that a variance would not be needed. <br /> Amending Mr. DeBace introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> The Agenda <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 80-5-168 - AMENDING TFIE AGENDA TO FIEAR <br /> ITEMS FROM THE FLOOR <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br /> dyes (5) DeBace, Scalze, Hanson, Fahey, Nadeau. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 109.
