NIINlJTES City Council (Cont.) May 1~4, 1980 Charles Mr. Charles Lee of 103 East County Road C appeared before the Council Lee requesting approval of a Laxid s~>_~i'r, on some property he ~~•~ishes to Property purchase. The property is in the area of Arcade Street and Diana Division Lane. Mr. Lee would like to split the property into three lots. Councilman Fahey questioned if there had to bo an existi-ng road before a property division. could be acted upon. Mr. Lee stated that he would build a road to service these resulting lots. Mr. Lee also stated that the purchase of this property i.s contingent upon t:he approval of a property division. There is an existing house on the property, and Council was concerned. about set backs to the house And the existing pool. Councilman Nadeau suggested it might be better to split this property into two lots rather than three. Mr. Nadeau introduced the following resolution and moved its acloptiona RF__SOLUTION N0. IIO-5-169 - REFERRING THE CI(ARLES LEE RECIUEST FOR A PROPERTY DIVISION TD ThIE PLANNING COMMISSION AND THE CITY PLANNER FOR THEIR RECOMMENDATIONS The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. Ayes (5) Nadeau, Fahey, Scalze, Manson, DeBace. Nayes (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Bool< No. 6, Page 109. Joe Buche Mr. Joseph Buche appeared before 'the Council requesting approval. to Request hook u to Cit sewer and water. The lots that Mr. Buche owns are located about one half a lot from the end of the City's .sewer and water. To Nook Up p y To City Council discussed whether Mr. Buche should be assessed at the time Sewer of hook up for the water and sewer improvement, or should be assessed if and when Park Street was extended and sewer and water was installed at that time. Councilman Fahey stated that he felt Mr. Buche should be abls to hook up now and pay his own connection charges, and_if Park Street goes in he should be assessed at that. time just like everyone else urould bs. Councilman DeOace stated that if Mr. Buche was assessed right away, it would be at today's costs rather than perhaps at a greater cost three or five years from now. Councilman Fahey staged that the Council should not males a special arrangement, but Mr...Buche should be assessed tuhen the time is right. Fahey also stated that approval should be contingent upon Mr. Buche's signing an agreement that if and when i;he water and sewer improvement resat in he would be assessed at that time. Councilman DeDace stated that he would like to see f9r. Buche assessed now. but would go along with the rest of the Council. Page _g_
