<br /> MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> June 11, 1980 <br /> Mayor Hanson reported that he has heard that Mr. Stenger told Mrs. <br /> Costa she is in violation by operating her home as a tri-plex. <br /> Councilman Fahey informed the City Clerk to start charging the Costa <br /> residence for three sewers. <br /> Awarding The Engineer reported that the City received two bids for correction of <br /> Bid the Demont drainage problem. They are from Ro-So Construction in the <br /> Demont amount of $2,412.00 and from A & R in the amount of $3,937.50. <br /> Drainage <br /> Problem Mr. Nadeau introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-6-218 - AWARDING TEIE BID FOR CORRECTION <br /> OF THE DEMONT DRAINAGE PROBLEM TO RO-SO CONSTRUCTION <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. <br /> ayes (4) Nadeau, Fahey, Scalze, Elanson. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 139. <br /> Vacation Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> Hearing <br /> Cul-De-Sac RESOLUTION N0. 80-6-219 - CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON <br /> On Payne THE PROPOSED VACATION OF ONE-HALF THE CUL-DE-SAC ON <br /> Avenue PAYNE AVENUE FOR JULY 9, 1980 AT 8:00 P.M. <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br /> ayes (4) Fahey, Scalze, Elanson, Nadeau. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 139. <br /> Guard Rails The City has received a letter from the Department of Transportation <br /> Viking & denying the request for guard rails at Viking Drive & Edgerton. <br /> Edgerton <br /> Striping Of The Utility Department has requested that the City authorize the <br /> City Streets County to stripe the following City streets: Woodlynn Avenue from <br /> Rice Street to end, Spruce Street from Country Drive to end, Country <br /> Drive from Little Canada Road to Spruce Street, Minnesota Street from <br /> Rice Street to end, South Owasso Blvd. from Rice Street to end, <br /> Lakeshore Avenue from Little Canada Road to Old County Road C, Old <br /> County Road C from Lakeshore to Jackson, and Jackson Street from Old <br /> County Road D to Demont Avenue. <br /> The Council also felt that the cross-walks at St. John's Church and the <br /> intersection of Little Canada Road-Lakeshore Avenue-County Road C <br /> should be striped. <br /> Page -16- <br /> <br />
