MINUTES
CITY Council
June 11, 1980
Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 80-6-231 - REFUNDING BUILDING PERMIT
N0. 1969 IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,349.55 TO MR. JOSEPH
BUCHE
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze.
ayes (4) Fahey, Scalze, Nadeau, Hanson.
Hayes (0).
Resolution declared adopted.
This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 4, Page 146.
Senior The City Planner reported that he has not met with Mr. Schrier yet.
Citizen The Planner has set up a meeting with someone from Nick Nichols' office
Housing to discuss grants.
Development
The Planner reported that he has come up with a few alternative site
plans for the Schrier property.
The Planner presented these sites to the Council. Of the three proposals
that the Planner showed the Council, the Council felt that Concept A was
the only acceptable plan.
Concept A consisted of 60 units of senior citizen housing close to
County Road C. There was a 100 foot of buffer between the residents
of Iona Lane and the Schrier property. On the remaining property
the Planner is suggesting 54 townhouse units.
Council informed the Planner that they wished the R-1 property to
remain R-1 and they wanted the senior citizen development on the R-3
property.
The Planner asked Council direction on what he was to present to Mr.
Schrier. Councilman Fahey suggested that the Planner start lower
than Concept A with Concept A being the City's final offer. Fahey
suggested that the Planner work in some single family homes into
Concept A along with townhouses and the senior citizen development
and present this to Mr. Schrier.
Paying The Mr. Nadeau introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
Vouchers
RESOLUTION N0. 80-6-232 - APPROVING PAYMENT OF THE
VOUCHERS
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson.
Ayes (4) Nadeau, Hanson, Scalze, Fahey.
Naves (0).
Resolution declared adopted.
This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 147.
Page -21-
