<br /> MINUTES <br /> CITY Council <br /> July 9, 1980 <br /> Petition Mrs. Mugs Nardini submitted to the Council a petition for the improvement <br /> For Storm of County Road B-2 by storm sewer, watermain and street restoration. <br /> Sewer & Water <br /> County RD. B-2 The City Clerk stated that the petition is signed by 35% of the property <br /> owners on County Road B-2. <br /> Mayor Hanson asked the Enyineer on the status of Metro Sewer's plans <br /> fora line through this area. The Engineer stated that he should know <br /> within two to three weeks what Metro's plans will be. <br /> The Engineer stated that he will have the feasibility report ready for <br /> the next Council meetiny. <br /> Councilman Fahey stated that he would like to know Metro's plans before <br /> he takes action on the improvement. <br /> Mayor Hanson stated that the City would probably be better off to <br /> order the improvement and then notify Metro Sewer. <br /> Councilman DeBace stated that the County should participate in the cost <br /> of the improvement as County Road B-2 is a County road. <br /> Mr. Hanson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-7-258 - CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR <br /> SEPTEMBER 10, 1980 ON THE IMPROVEMENT OF COUNTY ROAD B-2 <br /> BY WATERMAIN, STORM SEWER AND STREET RESTORATION <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded 6y Mr. Fahey. <br /> ayes (4) Hanson, Fahey, DeBace, Nadeau. <br /> Nayes (O). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> Mrs. Scalze was not present. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 165. <br /> Last Chance Mr. Jim Villeau, owner of the Terrace Heights Mobilehome Park, and <br /> Saloon six residents of the park appeared at the Council meeting to inform <br /> the Council of problems at the Last Chance Saloon. Mr. Villeau stated <br /> that the fence is in a state of disrepair and debree is coming under <br /> the fence onto the trailer court property. There are also late hours <br /> being kept in the parking lot of the Saloon. Mr. Villeau also stated <br /> that police a.re not responding fast enough to calls from residents <br /> of the park when there are problems in the parking lot of the Last <br /> Chance Saloon. Mr. Villeau also stated that a resident of the trailer <br /> court complained at the City Hall regarding the Last Chance Saloon, <br /> and the employee receiving the complaint made that person feel as though <br /> he had no right to complain. Mr. Villeau asked that this employee be <br /> repri mantled. <br /> Attorney Parks stated that he examined the fence in question, and was <br /> surprised at the good condition it was in. Parks then stated that <br /> perhaps he was not looking at the right area of fence. <br /> Page -11- <br /> <br />
