MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL

July 9, 1980
Councilman Fahey stated that when 'the City recently approved the
liquor license for this establishment, there were no complaints
received on the place. Fahey also stated that the Building Inspector
indicated that the fence was in a state of repair.
Councilman Fahey asked if the liquor license could be reconsidered.
Attorney Parks stated that the City could revoke the permit. The fence
should be examined and Mr. Saad given a certain amount of time to fix
it, or the license could be revoked.
Councilman Fahey suggested to residents of the trailer court that they
keep a log of the disturbances in the parking lot of the Last Chance
Saloon.
The Attorney also stated that there is a curb stop missing between the
parking lots of the Last Chance and Hoggsbreath and cars are driving
back and forth between the lots.
Mayor Hanson stated that he would have the Building Inspector take another
look at the fence.
Fahey indicated that something should be put in the minutes indicating
Mr. Saad should do whatever necessary to correct the problems at The
Last Chance Saloon and report at the next Council meeting to report the
results.
Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 80-7-259 - INSTRUCTING THE CITY CLERK
TO ADVISE MR. SAAD OF REPORTS THE CITY HAS RECEIVED FROM
THE NEIGHBORS OF THE LAST CHANCE SALOON WHO HAVE INDICATED
THE PROBLEMS ARE AS BAD AS THEY EVER WERE AND THAT MR.
