<br /> MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> August 13, 1980 <br /> Mayor Hanson stated that the City Attorney should send a letter by certified <br /> mail to Mr. Saad requesting explanation as to why he did not appear at the <br /> Council meeting, and informing him that he is in violation of the City's <br /> nuisance ordinance. The Attorney should also request the repair of the <br /> fence on the premises of the Last Chance Saloon and request the clean-up <br /> of the premises. Mr. Saad should also be requested to install curb barriers <br /> around the parking lot. Mr. Saad should further be requested to take <br /> affirmative action to ensure that his parking lot is patrolled on Friday <br /> and Saturday nights. <br /> Councilman Fahey added that Mr. Saad should be given until September 5, <br /> 1980 to do the above. <br /> Assessment The City Engineer reported that the City should approve the routine <br /> Reapportionment assessment reapportionments for Divisions No. 55892, 55877, 55936 <br /> and 55937. <br /> Mr. Nadeau introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-8-304 - APPROVING THE ASSESSMENT <br /> REAPPORTIONMENT FOR DIVISIONS 55892, 55936, 55877, <br /> AND 55937 <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br /> ayes (5) Nadeau, Flans on, Fahey, DeBace, Scalze. <br /> Nayes (0 <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Pages 195 and 196. <br /> Petition The Council has received a petition for the improvement of Park Street <br /> For Park from County Road C to Demont. <br /> Street <br /> Improvement Mr. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-8-305 - REFERRING THE PETITION FOR THE <br /> PARK STREET IMPROVEMENT TO TFIE CITY ENGINEER FOR A FEASIBILITY <br /> REPORT <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by P1r. Hanson. <br /> ayes (5) Scalze, Hanson, DeBace, Nadeau> Fahey. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 196. <br /> Deletion Of The City Clerk reported to the Council that Parcel 53-5420-170-00 <br /> Assessment was incorrectly assessed for watermain improvement and the property <br /> has no water service. <br /> Page -17- <br /> <br />
