<br /> MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> August 13, 1980 <br /> Election The City Clerk submitted to the Council the following list of names <br /> Judges for appointment as Election Judges: Republican, District I - Ella <br /> Lange vi n, Velma Lehto, Clarice Allison, I.V. Johnson, June Johnson, <br /> Louis LaCasse, Dorothy Roeker, Laverne McCallum (back-up); Republican, <br /> District II - Mary Forbes, George Seiler, Herman Mueller, Gene Van <br /> Guilder, Phyllis Dingle, Don Brandt (back-up); DFL - District II - <br /> Virginia Sykes, Florence Radford, Robert Menge, Kathy Herkenhoff, Eleanor <br /> Pearson. The Clerk also requested that he be authorized to appoint <br /> the five additional DFL judges that will be needed in District I. <br /> Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-8-316 - APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF <br /> THE ELECTION JUDGES AS SUBMITTED BY THE CITY CLERK AND <br /> AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO APPOINT FIVE ADDITIONAL <br /> DFL ELECTION JUDGES <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br /> ayes (5) Fahey, Hanson, Scalze; Nadeau, DeBace. <br /> Hayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 202. <br /> Additional The City Clerk reported that he has received one bid for the installation <br /> Cabinets of additional cabinets in the City's computer room. <br /> In Computer <br /> Room Councilman DeBace suggested that the Clerk be authorized to obtain one <br /> additional bid and award the bid to the lowest bidder. <br /> Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-8-317 - AUTHORIZING THE.CITY CLERK TO <br /> OBTAIN ONE ADDITIONAL BID FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF CABINETS <br /> IN THE CITY'S COMPUTER ROOM AND FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE <br /> CITY CLERK TO AWARD THE LOWEST BID <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly .seconded by Mr. DeBace: <br /> ayes (5) Fahey, DeBace, Hanson, Scalze, Nadeau. <br /> Hayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 203. <br /> Paying The Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> Vouchers <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-8-318 -AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT <br /> OF THE VOUCHERS <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br /> Ayes (5) Fahey, Hanson, DeBace; Nadeau, Scalze. <br /> Hayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 203. <br /> Page -24- <br /> <br />
