<br /> MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> August 13, 1980 <br /> Revenue Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> Sharing <br /> Hearing RESOLUTION N0. 80-8-313 - CALLING A REVENUE SHARING PUBLIC <br /> HEARING FOR WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, AT THE REGULAR COUNCIL <br /> MEETING <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. DeBace. <br /> ayes (5) Fahey, DeBace, Scalze, Nadeau, Hanson. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution book No. 6, Page 201. <br /> Budget Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> Meeting <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-8-314 - CALLING THE 1981 BUDGET MEETING <br /> FOR SEPTEMBER 24, 1980 AT 7:30 P.M. IN THE CITY CENTER <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br /> ayes (5) Fahey, Hanson, DeBace, Scalze, Nadeau. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 201. <br /> Minnesota The City has been notified that its share of the Minnesota League Building <br /> League Proposal would be $1,696. The City has the option, if they participate, <br /> Building of paying this in a lump sum, or over a five, ten, or twenty year period. <br /> Proposal If it is paid over a time period, there will be interest charged to the <br /> City. <br /> The City Clerk reported that the City receives quite a bit of research <br /> material from the League. Councilwoman Scalze informed the Council that <br /> the League will also report on court tests to the City. The Attorney <br /> stated that the League will also provide cities with model ordinances. <br /> Councilman Fahey suggested that the City participate in the League and <br /> that the $1,696 fee be paid in one lump sum. <br /> Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-8-315 - APPROVING THE CONTRIBUTION TO TFIE <br /> MINNESOTA LEAGUE OF CITIES BUILDING PROPOSAL AS REQUESTED <br /> AND DECLARING THAT THE CITY'S CONTRIBUTION BE MADE IN ONE <br /> LUMP SUM AS A PART OF THE 1981 BUDGET <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br /> ayes (5) Fahey, Hanson, Scalze, Nadeau, DeBace. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Pages 201 and 202. <br /> Page -23- <br /> <br />
