<br /> MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> August 13, 1980 <br /> Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-8-289 - APPROVING THE REZONING OF TRACT <br /> C OF REGISTERED LAND SURVEY N0. 300 FROM R-1 TO PUD AS <br /> REQUESTED BY ST. JUDE'S MEDICAL <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br /> ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, Hanson, DeBace, Nadeau. <br /> Nayes (O). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 185. <br /> Councilman Nadeau asked if the Council should address the subject of the <br /> improvement of Jackson Street at this time. Councilman DeBace stated that <br /> this should be in the Engineer's report on the whole project. <br /> Nadeau felt that St. Jude's should agree that the City will not be respon- <br /> sible for any flooding of the area. Councilman DeBace felt St. Jude's <br /> should give the City a letter indicating that they would have no objection <br /> to the possibility of a storm sewer project in that area in the future. <br /> Councilwoman Scalze also stated that St. Jude's should he aware of the <br /> City's Park Land Dedication Ordinance. <br /> Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-II-290 - APPROVING THE CONCEPT APPROVAL <br /> OF THE PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT AND THE ISSUANCE OF TFIE <br /> GRADING PERMITS FOR THE PROPERTY IN QUESTION SUBJECT TO <br /> TFIE APPROVAL BY THE CITY ENGINEER OF THE GRADING PLANS <br /> SUBMITTED FOR THE PROJECT <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Nadeau. <br /> Ayes (5) Fahey, Nadeau, Hanson, DeBace, Scalze. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 186. <br /> The Engineer stated that he will also need an erosion control plan and <br /> a run-off plan from St. Jude's. <br /> Industrial Elizabeth Huey of Piper, Jaffrey & Hopwood appeared before the Council <br /> Revenue to answer any questions that might arise with regard to industrial <br /> Bonds revenue bonds. St. Jude's is seeking approval of their application <br /> St. Jude's for these bonds in order to finance the project. The City incurs <br /> no liability in granting approval of St. Jude's application for the <br /> bonds. They are completely the obligation of St. Jude's. <br /> Mayor Hanson stated that the City has approved bonds of this nature in <br /> the past. <br /> Page -7- <br /> <br />
