MINUTES City Council September 8, 1980 THE ASSESSMENTS FOR LOTS 25, 26, 27, 28 AND 29, BLOCK 1 SHOULD BE REDUCED BY 30 FEET FOR ThIE PROPERTY ENCOMPASSED BY LAKE STREET AND THIS AMOUNT SHOULD BE ASSESSED TO THE CITY AND DEFERRED The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. {dyes (5) Fahey, Scalze, Nadeau, DeBace, Hanson. Nayes (0 Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Pages 224 and 225. One of the property owners along Ruth Street informed the Council that there are presently some assessments against his property that he has been paying. The Council was asked if he would get credit against the assessments just levied for the assessments he has been paying in the past. The Engineer stated that he u~ould look into what assessments have been paid on the property and report back. Terreau Mayor Hanson reported that the Wally Terreau property was assessed for Property 160 feet. P1r. Terreau feels he should have been assessed for only 102 feet. The Engineer stated that he would look into this matter and report back to the Council. Plo Parking Mayor Hanson reported that the Fire Department has requested that the no Signs parking signs on the north side of Little Canada Road from Noel Drive to Little McMenenly be removed. The firemen use this area for parking their cars Canada during fire calls. Road Mr. Hanson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 80-9-342 - REQUESTING THE COUNTY TO REMOVE THE NO-PARKING SIGNS ON TFIE NORTH SIDE OF LITTLE CANADA ROAD FROM NOEL DRIVE TO THE INTERSECTION OF McMENEMY THE foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. Ayes (5) Hanson, Fahey, DeBace, Nadeau, Scalze. Nayes (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 226.
