<br /> MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> September 10, 1980 <br /> The Planner stated that the report he made on Cameron Development <br /> contains most of the points that should be included in the PUD agreement. <br /> Councilman Fahey stated that this should be turned over to the City <br /> Attorney so that he can begin drawing up the PUD agreement. <br /> Mayor Hanson asked that the Engineer and Attorney keep Mr. Grekoff <br /> posted on the progress they are making. <br /> Tabling There was no one present regarding the Svenkeson Auto Repair license <br /> Svenkeson request. <br /> Auto Repair <br /> License Mr. Nadeau introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> Request <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 80-9-349 - TABLING THE SVENKESON AUTO <br /> REPAIR LICENSE REQUEST <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. <br /> Ayes (5) Madeau, Fahey, Scalze, Hanson, DeBace. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 230. <br /> Saad Mr. Joseph Saad, owner of The Last Chance Saloon, appeared before the <br /> Liquor Council. Mr. Saad requested that his liquor license be transferred to <br /> License Mr. Jerome R. Bjurstrom as he was selling the Last Chance Saloon to <br /> Transfer Mr. Bjurstrom. Mr. Saad further reported that he signed a contract <br /> for the sale of the property with Sterling Investment. Mr. Saad thought <br /> the contract was for three months. Therefore, when the three months <br /> elapsed Mr. Saad found a buyer, a P4r. James Tulgren, and Mr. Saad signed <br /> a sale agreement with Mr. Tulgren. Mr. Saad then found out that <br /> the real estate contract was for 6 months. Sterling Investment found <br /> a buyer for the property, Mr. Bjurstrom, and Mr. Saad then felt the <br /> property should be sold to Mr. Bjurstrom. <br /> Mr. Jerome Bjurstrom appeared before the Council. Mr. Bjurstrom stated <br /> that he is presently affiliated with Clearwater Products. Mr. Bjurstrom <br /> also stated that he has no prior experience with liquor establishments. <br /> Mr. James Finlay, an attorney representing Mr. James Tulgren, appeared <br /> before the Council. Mr. Finlay reported to the Council that his client <br /> has the prior signed real estate agreement for the purchase of The Last <br /> Chance Saloon. Mr. Finlay stated that his client could decide to take <br /> court action on this situation. Mr. Finlay asked the Council to delay <br /> action on the liquor license transfer until Mr. Tulgren could take such <br /> action. <br /> Page -4- <br /> <br />
