<br /> MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> September 10, 1980 <br /> Cameron Mr. Richard Grekoff, representing Cameron Development, appeared before <br /> Development the Council requesting approval of a PUD. <br /> Mayor Hanson reported that the Planning Commission, at their last meeting, <br /> recommended the City enter into this PUD agreement. <br /> Mr. Grekoff reported that he has received the Planner's report on his <br /> development and there is nothing in the report that he objects to. <br /> Mr. Grekoff also stated that the City Engineer has reviewed his drainage <br /> plans and that the drainage he has is adequate for his property. However, <br /> there aresurrounding properties that drain into this area. The drainage <br /> problems from these areas have not been resolved. <br /> The Engineer stated that he felt the City should delay entering into <br /> the PUD agreement. Mr. Carley would like to take a longer look at the <br /> drainage of this area. Mr. Carley stated that he does not see an outlet <br /> for the water that is draining into the Cameron Development property. <br /> If this is not resolved, there could be serious drainage problems in <br /> this area in the future. <br /> Mr. Fahey commented that whatever the City does regarding this matter, <br /> he would like to see the City have a hold harmless agreement regarding <br /> the drainage. <br /> Mr. Grekoff stated that he would like to start grading the property this <br /> fall. Fle has not, however, finalized his financing for the project. <br /> Mayor Hanson stated that there would be some delay with the Attorney <br /> drawing up the PUD agreement, as well as the Engineer taking another <br /> look at the drainage of the area. <br /> Councilpersons Fahey and Scalze stated that they would like a full engineering <br /> report before they take action on the PUD proposal. <br /> Mr. Carley stated that he could have the report ready in a couple of weeks. <br /> Carley also stated that the State and County would have to be involved in <br /> this. <br /> Mr. Fahey stated that the City of Maplewood should also be informed of the <br /> project. <br /> Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-9-348 - TABLING FURTHER ACTION ON THE <br /> CAMERON DEVELOPMENT PUD PROPOSAL UNTIL COUNCIL RECEIVES <br /> A FULL ENGINEERING REPORT FROM THE CITY ENGINEER ON THE <br /> DRAINAGE ISSUES TO BE RESOLVED. <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Nadeau. <br /> Ayes (5) Fahey, Nadeau, Hanson, DeBace, Scalze. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 229. <br /> Page -3- <br /> <br />
