MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br /> September 24, 1980 <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting of the <br /> Council of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 24th <br /> day of September, 1980 in the Council Chambers of the City Center <br /> located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br /> l'he Mayor, Mr. Raymond F•lanson, chaired and called the meeting to <br /> order at 7:39 P.M. <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mr. Raymond Hanson <br /> Councilman Mr. Robert DeBace <br /> Councilman Mr. Michael Fahey <br /> Councilwoman Mrs. Beverly Scalze <br /> MEMBERS ABSENT: Councilman Mr. Roy Nadeau, Jr. <br /> ALSO PRESENT: Recording Secretary Mrs. Kathleen Glanzer <br /> City Clerk Mr. Joseph Chlebeck <br /> The City Clerk announced that there was a quorum of the Council present. <br /> <br /> 1981 Mayor Hanson informed the Council that the purpose of tonight's meeting <br /> <br /> Budget was to review and adopt the City of Little Canada's budget for 1981. <br /> The City Clerk informed the Council that the Auditor has recommended <br /> an increase in the bond levies for the 1971 bonds. The Clerk also <br /> stated that the Auditor feels that in five years the City can eliminate <br /> any deficit levies. <br /> The City Clerk presented to the Council for adoption the following bond <br /> levies for bond indebtedness for 1981: <br /> Bonds Issued Scheduled Levy Deficit Levy Levy Total <br /> 1966-$1,600M $ 56,800.00 $40,000.00 $ 96,800.00 <br /> 1967-$1,300M 72,300.00 -0- 72,300.00 <br /> 1971-$ 730M 35,000.00 80,000.00 115,000.00 <br /> 1973-$ 215M 3,000.00 -0- 3,000.00 <br /> 1973-;+ 100M 13,000.00 -0- 13,000.00 <br /> 1975-$ 190M 5,611.00 -0- 3,000.00 <br /> 1978-$2,995M 208,580.00 -0- 208,580.00 <br /> 1979-$1,870M 118,894.00 -0- 118,894.00 <br /> TOTAL 630,574.00 <br /> Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-9-370 - APPROVING ThIE BOND LEVIES FOR <br /> BOND INDEBTEDNESS FOR 1981 <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br /> ayes (4) Fahey, Scalze, DeBace, Hanson. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 241. <br /> Page -1- <br /> <br />
