Scalze stated that there are still a couple of pieces of
property that the Council could consider for this development.
Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0. 80-10=a~07 - AUTHORIZING THE CITY PLANNER TO
OFPPURC~ASINGOPROPERTYDFORLOHEEDEVELOPMENTAOF S~NIORECITIZONE
HOUSING
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze.
Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, Flanson, DeBace, Nadeau.
Nayes (0).
Resolution declared adopted.
This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 263.
Special Councilman Fahey indicated that the Council would hold a special Council
Council meeting on Wednesday, November 19, 1980 at 5:00 P.M. to review the
Meeting housing profile and the Capital Improvements Plan that have been submitted
Nov. 19 to the Council by the Planner. The Engineer indicated that in those cases
the City built the streets. The Engineer also stated that a bond was
required on Diana Lane, but that was because houses were built before
the street was in.
The Attorney stated that if there are problems, the City would not have
to issue building permits until they were taken care of.
Mrs. Scalze inquired about the widening of Twin Lake Road. Councilman
DeBace stated that the people on Twin Lake Road do not want it widened.
Flowever, they might change their minds after the development is in.
Page -22-
