<br /> MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> October 8, 1980 <br /> Kellogg Councilwoman Scalze informed the Council that the School District has <br /> High School set new hours for the use of the Kellogg Fligh School parking lot. <br /> Parking Lot Gates have been installed at the entrances to the parking lot and the <br /> lot will now be closed from 11 P.M. to 5 A.M. on Monday through <br /> Thursdays, and from 11 P.M. Fridays through 5 A.M. Mondays. <br /> Scalze stated that this will effect the parking for the tennis courts. <br /> Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-10-405 - DECLARING THAT THE CITY UIILL <br /> COMPLY WITH THE SCHEDULE THAT THE KELLOGG HIGH SCHOOL <br /> PARKING LOTS WILL BE OPEN <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Nadeau. <br /> dyes (5) Scalze, Nadeau, Hanson, Fahey, DeBace. <br /> Hayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 262. <br /> Awarding Councilwoman Scalze stated that the City has received three bids for <br /> Bid For paving the parking lot in Spooner Park. The bids are: Bituminous <br /> Parking Lot Roadways in the amount of $5,726.00, Daily & Sons in the amount of <br /> Paving $5,795.00, and Schifsky & Sons in the amount of $7,482.00. <br /> Scalze recommended that the bid be awarded to Bituminous Roadways as <br /> the low bidder. This amount is within the budget. <br /> Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-10-406 - AWARDING TEIE LOW BID FOR THE PAVING <br /> OF THE PARKING LOT IN SPOONER PARK TO BITUMINOUS ROADWAYS IN <br /> THE AMOUNT OF $5,726.00 <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Flanson. <br /> ayes (5) Scalze, Nadeau, Hanson, Fahey, DeBace. <br /> Hayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 262. <br /> Park Councilwoman Scalze informed the Council that the Park Commission is <br /> Land considering the purchase of additional park land. Scalze stated that <br /> Acquisition the Park Commission would like to know if they could contact property <br /> owners on a piece of property they might be interested in purchasing <br /> to determine the price of that property. They would not be doing any <br /> price negotiations. <br /> Council alt there would be no problem with the Park Commission asking <br /> the price of property. <br /> Page -21- <br /> <br />
