<br /> MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> November 12, 1980 <br /> Halverson The City Engineer informed the Council that P9r. Halverson has questioned <br /> Assessment the assessmentagainst his property for watermain improvement No. 78-6. <br /> Correction Mr. Halverson owns two lots and his house is built on the middle of these <br /> lots. Mr. Halverson believes he should have only been assessed for one <br /> lot. <br /> Mr. Nadeau introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-11-436 -A RESOLUTION INSTRUCTING THE <br /> ENGINEER TO INVESTIGATE THE ASSESSMENT ON THE HALVERSON <br /> PROPERTY FOR WATERMAIN IMPROVEMENT N0. 78-6 <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br /> {{yes (5) Nadeau, Hanson, Fahey, Scalze, DeBace. <br /> Hayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 282. <br /> 1981 Mayor Hanson reported that the Ramsey County Sheriff's Department will <br /> Sheriff's have a representative attend the Council's November 19, 1980 meeting to <br /> Contract discuss their 1981 contract. <br /> Council had some discussion on whether the Sheriff's Department presently <br /> provides ambulance service, or whether they just refer this service to <br /> private contractors. <br /> Mayor Hanson reported that Falcon Heights is gathering information on the <br /> possibility of the north suburban cities banding together and forming <br /> their own police department. <br /> Heating Mr. Nadeau introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> Permit <br /> Fees RESOLUTION N0. 80-11-437 - APPROVING THE NEW FEES FOR <br /> HEATING PERMITS AS SUBMITTED <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. <br /> Ayes (5) Nadeau, Fahey, Hanson, DeBace, Scalze. <br /> Hayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 282. <br /> Old Little The City Clerk reported that the people who purchased the Old Little <br /> Canada Canada School building will be operating a day-care in that facility. <br /> School <br /> Planning Mr. Nadeau reported that Mr. Fred Clasen is the only applicant the City <br /> Commission has for the position on the Planning Commission recently vacated by Mr. <br /> Appointment Frank Winiecki. <br /> Mrs. Scalze pointed out that there are some additional vacancies coming <br /> up that should be advertised. <br /> Page -16- <br /> <br />
