<br /> MINUTES <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> December 10, 1980 <br /> Metro Sewer Mr. DeBace introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> Maintenance <br /> Contract RESOLUTION N0. 80-12-471 - APPROVING THE METRO SEWER <br /> MAINTENANCE CONTRACT FO'R 1981 <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br /> Ayes (5) DeBace, Hanson, Nadeau> Scalze, Fahey. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 303. <br /> 1981 Sewer Councilman DeBace reported that the 1981 sewer budget was proposed for <br /> Budget 1980 but will not go into effect until 1981. DeBace recommended approval <br /> of this budget. <br /> Mr. DeBace introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-12-472 - APPROVING TFiE 1981 SEWER BUDGET <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br /> ayes (5) DeBace, Scalze, Hanson, Nadeau, Fahey. <br /> Nayes (0 <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 303. <br /> The City Clerk stated that the sewer rate for senior citizens will stay at <br /> the reduced rate that it is presently at. <br /> 1981 Water Councilman DeBace reported that the same situation holds true for the water <br /> Budget budget as for the sewer budget. The budget had been proposed for 1980, <br /> but will take effect in 1981. <br /> Mr. Hanson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-12-473 - APPROVING THC 1981 WATER BUDGET <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Nadeau. <br /> ayes (5) Hanson, Nadeau, DeBace, Fahey, Scalze. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 304. <br /> Awarding Councilman DeBace informed the Council that the City previously called <br /> Truck for bids fora new pick-up truck for the Utility Department. Only one <br /> Quotations bid was received. Therefore, the Utility Department obtained quotations <br /> for the truck. The Utility Department received these quotations for both <br /> a 1/2 ton pick-up truck and a small compact truck. Councilman DeBace <br /> recommended that the low quotation for the 1/2 ton pickup be awarded. <br /> DeBace stated that he would review the quotations to ensure that they <br /> were a17 bid on the same specifications. <br /> Page -11- <br /> <br />
