<br /> MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> December 10, 1980 <br /> Planner's Mayor Hanson asked the Council if they felt that now the Comprehensive <br /> Contract Plan has been adopted by the Council if this were the time the Planner's <br /> contract should be renegotiated. Hanson asked if the Planner should now <br /> be on a demand basis only, or should the situation continue as is for the <br /> present. <br /> Councilman Fahey stated that the Planner's services should be utilized as <br /> they are presently until the rezoning process is completed. Then the <br /> Planner should be on a demand-basis only. <br /> Mrs. Scalze suggested that the Planning Commission be asked their feelings <br /> on the matter. <br /> Fahey suggested that the matter be reviewed in January when the new Council <br /> is in operation. <br /> Planning Councilman Nadeau reported that the Planning Commission terms of Mr. Vitale, <br /> Commission Mrs. Timmons and Mrs. Fisher expire on December 31, 1980. Nadeau also <br /> Vacancies informed the Council that Mr. Dennis Forsberg has one year remaining on <br /> his Planning Commission term, which he will not complete due to his <br /> election to City Council effective January 1, 1981. <br /> Mr. Nadeau introduced) the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-12-469 - CALLING FOR THE ADVERTISEMENT <br /> OF THE FOLLOWING PLANNING COMMISSION VACANCIES: THREE <br /> 3-YEAR TERMS AND ONE 1-YEAR TERM <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br /> Ayes (5) Nadeau, Hanson, Fahey, Scalze, DeBace. <br /> Nayes (O). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 302. <br /> Special Mayor Hanson suggested that a special Council meeting be called for January <br /> Council 7, 1981 to discuss appointments for the year. <br /> Meeting <br /> 1/7/81 Mr. Nadeau introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 80-12-470 - CALLING FOR A SPECIAL COUNCIL <br /> MEETING ON JANUARY 7, 1981 <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br /> Ayes (5) Nadeau, Scalze, Hanson, DeBace, Fahey. <br /> Nayes (O). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 5, Pages 302 and 303. <br /> Comprehen- Councilman Nadeau reported that the City received correspondence from the <br /> sive Plan Metro Council stating that they have received the City's Comprehensive Plan <br /> and will begin reviewing the Plan on December 2. <br /> Page -10- <br /> <br />
