<br /> MINUTES <br /> City Council <br /> December 10, 1980 <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br /> ayes (5) Scalze, Hanson, Fahey, DeBace, Nadeau <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 305. <br /> Park Mrs. Scalze reported that the Park Commission would like to run a fence <br /> Commission along the School District property in order to reduce the damage done <br /> Fence For from vehicles driving across the property. <br /> School <br /> Property Mrs. Scalze further stated that the Park Commission is waiting for <br /> some recommendations forthcoming from the School District on the type <br /> of fence that would be acceptable. <br /> Park The Park Commission terms of Joe Donovan, Jim More1an and Edith Schultz <br /> Commission expire on December 31, 1980. <br /> Vacancies <br /> Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 80-12-476 - CALLING FOR THE ADVERTISEMENT <br /> OF TFIREE VACANCIES ON THE PARK COMMISSION EACH OF WHICH <br /> IS FOR A THREE-YEAR TERM BEGINNING IN 1981 <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br /> Ayes (5) Scalze, Hanson, Fahey, DeBace, Nadeau. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 6, Page 306. <br /> Recreation Mrs. Scalze reported that the construction of the warming house is proceeding. <br /> Report The doors and windows have been received. <br /> Recreation has six hockey teams, one basketball team, and 40 people <br /> registered for skating lessons. <br /> Mrs. Scalze further reported that Jan Graczyk is resigning her post <br /> in Recreation effective 12/31/80. Mrs. Scalze asked that she be given <br /> a certificate for the work she has done for recreation. The Little <br /> Canada Recreation Association will be making a recommendation on Jan's <br /> replacement. <br /> Change Of Councilman Fahey recommended that the City change their insurance agent <br /> Insurance for life insurance from Phil Renslow to the McNamara Agency. The McNamara <br /> Agent Agency is the City's insurance agent on all other insurance coverage. <br /> There was also information in the agenda on some additional insurance <br /> coverage for the City. Councilman Fahey recommended that the Council <br /> not take action on this item until the January meeting. <br /> Page -13- <br /> <br />
