MINU7ES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTFl <br />January 7, 1981 <br />Pursuant to due ca'il and notice thereof a special meeting of the <br />Council of the City of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the <br />7th day of January, 1980 in the Council Chambers of the City Center <br />located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />The Mayor, Mr. Raymond Hanson, chaired and called the meeting to order <br />at 7:34 P.M. <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mr. Raymon<I Hanson <br />Councilman Mr. Michael Fahey <br />Councilman Mr. Dennis Forsberg <br />Counci7woman Mrs. Mugs Nardini <br />Councilwoman Mrs. Beverly Sca7ze <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Clerk Mr. Joseph Chlebeck <br />City Attorney Mr. Clayton Parks <br />Recording Secretary Mrs. Kathleen Glanzer <br />Oath Of The City Clerk, Joseph Chlebeck, administered the oath of office to <br />Office Mayor Raymond Nanson and Councilmembers P1ugs ~lardini and Dennis Forsberg. <br />Appointments Mayor Hanson informed the Council that the purpose of tonight's meeting <br />was to make appointments for the year 1981. Hanson stated that it has <br />been suggested that these appointments be made for a two-year period, <br />namely 19II1 and 19II2, rather than for a one-year period. <br />Several Councilpersons commented that they would like the appointments <br />made for the usual one-year period, giving the Council the opportunity <br />to review these appointments in early 1982, <br />Appointment Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />Of Acting <br />Mayor RESOLUTTON N0. 81-1-1 - APPOINTIMG COUNCILMAN MICHFlEL FAEIEY <br />AS FlC7INC, MFlYOR FOR THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA FOR THE YEAR <br />1981 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br />Ayes (4.) Scalze, Hanson, Nardini, Forsberg. <br />Nayes (0). Councilman Fahey abstained. <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 1. <br />Page -1- <br />
