MINUTES <br />City Council <br />February 11, 1981 <br />The Attorney stated that he has reviewed the contracts and all the changes <br />he has suggested have been made. The Attorney recommended the approval <br />of the contracts. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 81-2-70 - APPROVIPIG THF PLANNIMG CONTRACTS <br />WITH NORTNWEST ASSOCIATEQ CONSULTANTS FOR THE YEFlR 1981 <br />The foregoing resolution was du7y seconded by Mrs. Nardini. <br />Ayes (5) Scalze, Nardini, Hanson, Forsberg, Fahey. <br />Nayes (0}. <br />Resolution declared adopted, <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 42. <br />Cancellation The Planner recommended that the rezoning hearing for his item #3, the <br />Of Rezoning property located at County Road D and Edgerton, ae cancelled as the <br />Hearing - present zoning of light industrial best reflects the use of the property. <br />Property On To change the zoning would create non-conforming uses. <br />County Rd.D <br />& Edgerton The P7anner also stated that the notices to the surrounding property <br />owners oP the proposed zoning change have not gone out. <br />Mrs. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION M0. 81-2-71 - ACCEPTING THE RECOMMENDATION OF <br />THE CIT PLFlNNER TO LEAVE THE PRESENT ZONING OF LIGHT <br />INDUSTRIAL ON THE PROPERTY LOCFlTED FlT COUNTY ROFlD D AND <br />EDGERTON <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Flyes (5) ~lardini, Scalze, Hanson, Forsberg, Fahey. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Reso7ution Book No. 7, Page 43. <br />Tree 7he Flttorney reported that the City does not yet have a contract for <br />Cutting tree cutting services for 1981. The Council has accepted ~ bid, but <br />Contract the bfidder has not su6mitted the contract, <br />The Attorney stated that he has examined the 6id proposal and it is in <br />order. <br />Providence The Flttorney reported to the Council that he was informed that the <br />Apartments Providences Apartments are being sold and will then be converted to <br />condominiums. The Flttorney stated that it has been found that the <br />Providences has a garage that is encroaching five feet onto a City <br />sewer easement. The Attorney stated that he contacted the Engineer <br />and Mr. Carley said that he was aware of this, but the sewer was so <br />deep at that point that it would never be necessary to disturb the <br />garage. <br />Page -12- <br />
