Fahey stated that he would <br />On Typewriters like to look into this furniture, <br />Mr. Forsberg informed the Council that the Maintenance Garage could use <br />an additional desk. The City Clerk replied that when the City Center <br />receives the new desk, an old one can be moved to the Maintenance Garage. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 81-2-86 - AUTHORIZING COUNCTLMFlN FAEIEY TO <br />PURCHFlSE A NEW DESK FOR TNE CITY CENTER AND TO TFlKE <br />QUOTP,TIONS ON NEW TYPFWRITERS <br />THE foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Mardini. <br />Flyes (5) Scalze, Nardin9, Forsberg, Fahey, I~anson. <br />Nayes (O). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 50. <br />Mrs. Sca1ze commented on the increased workload that the City staff has <br />had to handle over the past two years. <br />Approving Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />The <br />Vouchers RESOLUTIOM N0. 81-2-87 - FlPPROVING THE VOUChIERS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs, Scalze, <br />qyes (5) Fahey, Scalze, Flanson, Forsberg, Nardini, <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 51. <br />Hanson's Mayor Hanson stated that he would like to commend the Councilmembers for <br />Comments the job they are doing. Hanson felt the Council was taking its job very <br />On Council seriously, <br />& Sta.ff <br />Mayor Hanson also felt that the office staff had a great deal of work <br />to handle and was doing a good job. <br />Investment The City C1erk reported that the Fire Department has requested. that it <br />Of Fire Dept. be allowed to combine the investment of their Relief Association funds <br />Relief Assoc, with City funds so that they could receive a better return on this <br />Funds money. <br />The City Clerk felt that there would be no problem in doing this, but <br />stated that he would speak to the City's auditor regarding this. <br />Page -21- <br />
