Mzr~urEs
CITY COUNCIL
FEBRUARY 11, 1981
Johnson Mr. Bill Johnson appeared before the Council requesting the d.ivision of
Property Lots D and E from his property on Keller Parkway and also the vacation
Division of Lake Street located south of the cul de sac that runs along his
property.
Council asked P4r. Johnson what his intentions were concerning lake rights.
Mr. Johnson stated that he would like to retain 1ake rights for himself,
but should he split two additional lots from the portion of his property
on La&ore Road, these lots would not have lake rights.
The City Clerk also pointed out that there is an alteyway in this area.
Council felt the alleyway should also be considered for vacation.
P4r. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its acloption:
RESOLUTION N0. 81-2-66 - CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEFlRING
ON THE POSSIBLE VACFlTIOM OF LAKE STREET SOUTN OF THE
CUL DE SAC FlS DESCRIBED IN RFGISTERED LAND SURVEY #64
Fl~ID TNE DIVISION OF LOTS D& E ALSO DESCRIBED I~I REGISTERED
LAPIQ SURVEY ~k6a AND THE POSSIRLE VACATIOM OF THE FlLLEYblAY
RUNNING 147.59 fEET TO THE EAST OF LAKE STRFET
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. flanson.
Flyes (4) Fahey, Hanson, Nardini, Scalze.
Nayes (0).
Mr. Forsberg was not present at the time of the vote.
Resolution declared adopted.
This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Pages 39 and 40.
Request To John and Patty Guzik appeared before the Council requesting to hook up
Hook Up To to water on Little Canada Road from a lot they own which fronts on
Water On Schletty Dr9ve. The Guzik's stated that they cannot get FHA financing
Little if they are not allowed to hook up to City water.
Canada Rd.
Mrs. Scalze reminded the Council that they did not allow another party
to hook up to water in this same area. Apparently the residents of
Schletty 4loods are concerned that those people that hook up from
Little Canada Road will not pay the assessments for water should it
ever be put in on Schletty Drive. Therefore, the remaining residents
of Schletty bloods would have to bear a greater cost. Mrs, Scalze
stated that one resident of Schletty 4loods was a1lowecl to hook up to
water and the remaining residents of Schletty Woods were very upset
about it.
Mr. Fahey suggested that the Guzik's could be allowed to hook up on
Little Canada Road as long as they agreed that should water come in
on Schletty Drive, they would not be opposed and would pay their fair
assessment. Fahey stated that this possibility was not brought up in
the past when discussing this situation with the residents of Schletty
Woods.
Page -8-
