MzNUres <br />City Council <br />March 11, 1981 <br />The City Flttorney stated that when a bui1d~ng is constructed, the <br />Building Inspector inspects the sprinkler system p7ans, but the City <br />has no requirement for a periodic inspection of these systems. If the <br />City begins inspecting them, the City will be taking on liability. <br />The majority of Council was not in favor of having Mr. Winiecki ancl Mr. <br />Rieden make this presentation on April 8. <br />Building The City Clerk reported that the Bui1ding Inspectors report that was <br />Inspectors inc7uded in the Counci1members' agendas was for information purposes. <br />Report <br />City Office Mrs. Nardini reported that she had a call from Mr. John arown, a resident <br />Equipment of Little Canada who is in the office equipment business. Mr. Brown <br />has requested that he be given an opportunity to quote the City prices <br />on the purchase of any office equipment. <br />Mr. Fahey stated that Mr. Brown will be given an opportunity to make <br />quotations in the future. <br />Landfil1ing Mrs. Nardini reported that there is a lot on Diana Lane that is about <br />Diana Lane 2/3's fi1led. The lot was just a large hole ancl now there is a house <br />going up on it and the fi119ng is a1most finished. <br />Councilman Fahey suggested that the Attorney send out a letter on this. <br />Mrs. Nardini commented that she will attempt to find out who owns the lot <br />and wi11 have a 7etter sent out on this fi1ling on behalf of the Counci'I. <br />Guardrail The City has received a request for a guardrail on Edgerton and Ke11er <br />Request Parkway. Councilman Forsber~g asked for the opportunity to meet w9th <br />For the people making this request before the Council takes action on ~it. <br />Edgerton <br />Street Mr. Forsberg introduced the following reso1ution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 81-3-126 - TFlaLING ACTTO(~I ON THE GUARDRAIL <br /> REQUEST FOR EDGERTON STREET AND KELLCR P~IRKWAY UNTIL MR, <br /> FORSBERG FIAS Fl CHANCE TO MFET WITH THOSE RESIDEDITS MFlKING <br /> TFIE REQUEST <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. <br /> Ayes (5) Forsberg, Fahey, Hanson, Nardini, Scalze. <br /> Nayes (0). <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> This reso7ution appears 9n Resolution Book No. 7, Page H4. <br />Sanitary The Utility Department has requested that City ordinances contain the <br />Sewer provision that it is the homeowners responsibility for maintaining his <br />Liability sewer connection from the house to the City sewer main. <br />Page -23- <br />
