MINUTES <br />City Council <br />April 8, 1981 <br />The foregoing resotution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />~yes (5) Hanson, Scalze, Nardini, forsberg, Fahey. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 114. <br />Hughes Mrs. Scalze s•tated that there will be a park charge on each unit <br />Construction that Hughes Construction is proposing for development on the east <br />side of Ruth Street. The City Planner agreed as this is a <br />resubdivision of property. <br />Planning Council held another vote on the remaining term of eight months on <br />Commission the Planning Commission. The ballot resulted as follows: Mr, Fahey <br />Vacancy voted for Mr. Davison; Mr. Flanson voted for Mr. French; Mrs. Scalze <br /> voted for Mr. Davison; Mr. Forsbery abstained; and Mrs. Nardini <br /> voted for Mr. LaMay. <br />The City Attorney stated that Council was again deadlocked on the vote <br />as an appointment to the P7anning Commission needs the vote of the <br />majority of Council. <br />Mrs. Nardini suggeste~ that perhaps more extensive resumes should be <br />required of applicants. Nardini also suggested that the position be <br />readvertised, but that those who have already applied, need not reapply. <br />Mr. Forsberg introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 81-4-175 - TABLING ACTION ON THE FlPPOIMTMEPIT <br />TO TfIE PLANNING COMMISSION AND INSTRUCTING THC CITY CL.ERK <br />TO READVERTISE THE VACANCY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Nardini. <br />Pyes (5) Forsberg, Nardini, Hanson, Fahey, Scalze. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 114. <br />Free Dump Mr. forsberg informed the Counc~l that Free Dump Day will be held on <br />Day And May 2, 1981. Clean-up Day will be Flpril 11, 1981 and there will be <br />Clean-Up 75 Gir1 Scouts picking up trash that day. McDonald's will be providing <br />Day plastic bags for the clean up. <br />Calling Mr. forsberg asked that the Council approve the advertisement for <br />For Seal seal coating bids on certain City streets in accordance with the Uti1ity <br />Coating Department's plan for the seal coating of City streets. <br />6ids <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 81-4-176 - CALLING FOR SFAL COATING BIDS <br />FOR THE SEFlL COATING OF CERTFlIN CITY STREETS IN 1981 <br />Page -20- <br />
