MINUTES <br />City Council <br />April 22, 1981 <br />Recreation <br />Reno rt <br />Old <br />Pick-Up <br />Truck <br />Mrs. Scalze reported that there are 22 teams signed up for softball. <br />Games begin on June 8. <br />The Recreation Association raffle will be held on 1=riday, Apri1 24. <br />There is a possibility of youth tennis lessons being made available. <br />June ~ and 11 swimming registration will be held. Lessons will be <br />at Gervais. <br />Scalze also reported that there is a Park 6oard meeting on April 30 <br />and the Turnquist property vdill be discussed. <br />P4r. Forsberg reported that he had two quotations for the purchase of <br />the City's old pick-up truck. They are from A-1 Fluto Parts in the <br />amount of $50.00 and from Norm's Auto Parts in the amount of $112.00. <br />Mr. Forsberg introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 81-4-207 - FlUTHORIZING TIIE SALE Of TFIF.. <br />UTILITY DEPARTMENT S OLD PICK-UP TRUCK TO NORP~'S AUTO <br />PARTS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br />Flyes (5) Forsberg, Hanson, Scalze, Fahey, ~lardini. <br />Nayes (0), <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 138. <br />Free Dump P~r. Forsberg reported that Free Dump Day wi17 be Saturday> May 2, <br />Day Forsberg also stated that he received a call from Buck Blacktop <br />regarding whether they can dump on Free Dump Day. Mr. Forsberg <br />stated that he informed them that other businesses in the City make <br />use of Free Dump Day and felt they could also. <br />Transfer Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />To Petty <br />Cash Fund RESOLUTION N0. E31-4-208 - TRANSFERRING $75.00 FROM <br />THE GENERFlL FUND TO THF PETTY CASH FUND <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br />Flyes (5) Fahey, Hanson, Forsberg, Scalze, Nardini, <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 139. <br />Mr. Fahey stated that he wou1d hold his remaining agenda items over <br />until the next Council meeting. <br />Page -23- <br />
