MINUTES City Council April 22, 1981 Recreation Reno rt Old Pick-Up Truck Mrs. Scalze reported that there are 22 teams signed up for softball. Games begin on June 8. The Recreation Association raffle will be held on 1=riday, Apri1 24. There is a possibility of youth tennis lessons being made available. June ~ and 11 swimming registration will be held. Lessons will be at Gervais. Scalze also reported that there is a Park 6oard meeting on April 30 and the Turnquist property vdill be discussed. P4r. Forsberg reported that he had two quotations for the purchase of the City's old pick-up truck. They are from A-1 Fluto Parts in the amount of $50.00 and from Norm's Auto Parts in the amount of $112.00. Mr. Forsberg introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 81-4-207 - FlUTHORIZING TIIE SALE Of TFIF.. UTILITY DEPARTMENT S OLD PICK-UP TRUCK TO NORP~'S AUTO PARTS The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. Flyes (5) Forsberg, Hanson, Scalze, Fahey, ~lardini. Nayes (0), Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 138. Free Dump P~r. Forsberg reported that Free Dump Day wi17 be Saturday> May 2, Day Forsberg also stated that he received a call from Buck Blacktop regarding whether they can dump on Free Dump Day. Mr. Forsberg stated that he informed them that other businesses in the City make use of Free Dump Day and felt they could also. Transfer Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: To Petty Cash Fund RESOLUTION N0. E31-4-208 - TRANSFERRING $75.00 FROM THE GENERFlL FUND TO THF PETTY CASH FUND The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. Flyes (5) Fahey, Hanson, Forsberg, Scalze, Nardini, Nayes (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 139. Mr. Fahey stated that he wou1d hold his remaining agenda items over until the next Council meeting. Page -23-
