MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 23, 2024 <br />The City Administrator noted that additional language was provided from the City Attorney related to <br />potential additional grant funds and issuance fees which will be memorialized in the Development <br />Agreement and therefore if there is a motion for approval, that should be made subject to review by the <br />City Attorney. <br />Mayor Fischer opened the public hearing for comments from the general public. <br />There were no comments from the public. Upon motion by D. Miller, seconded by T. Miller, the <br />public hearing was closed. Ayes (5). Nays (0). Motion adopted. <br />T. Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2 024-10-122 - APPR O VING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF TAX <br />INCREMENET FINANCING DISTRICT NO. 7-4 WITHIN DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT <br />NO. 7 AND APPROVING THE TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN THEREFOR; <br />A UTHORIZING AN INTERFUND LOAN AND A UTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A <br />DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT, SUBJECT TO REVIEW BY THE CITYATTORNEY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Kwapick. <br />Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />T. Resolution declared adopted. <br />STAFF REPORTS <br />PURCHASE VEHICLE EXHAUST SYSTEM FOR LITTLE CANADA FIRE STATION <br />The City Administrator explained that this item had been budgeted in a prior year and is a priority <br />improvement as the current exhaust system is not functioning. He stated that this would also propose <br />additional fans for the area. He stated that through the bidding work of the Fire Chief and volunteer <br />firefighters they received two quotes, with the low bid in the amount of $37,280 which is substantially <br />lower than the $200,000 shown in the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). <br />Co <br />
