MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 23, 2024 <br />D. Miller asked the timing for the project. The City Administrator replied that as soon as the <br />contractor is notified, it would be added to their schedule and completed still this year. <br />D. Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2024-10-124 — A CCEPTING THE LO W BID OF $3 7,280 TO NORDIC <br />MECHANICAL SERVICES FOR THE INSTALLATION OF NEW VEHICLE <br />EXHA UST SYSTEM A T THE FIRE STA TION AND A CCEPTING THE OPTION <br />MANUAL STARTUP FOR THE MAKEUP AIR SYSTEM IN THE AMOUNT OF $19500 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by T. Miller. <br />Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />COUNCIL REPORTS AND MEETING UPDATES <br />Gutierrez provided an update on the most recent meeting of the Fire Association. <br />Mayor Fischer commented while there was not action to move to PERA, he does believe that option is <br />still being considered as the organization completes its due diligence. <br />Kwapick announced that the following day is the annual member meeting for the Little Canada <br />Historical Society which will take place at 10 a.m. at City Hall. <br />T. Miller provided an update on the most recent session of RCLG related to Al systems. She noted <br />that the next part of the series will take place on November 8th. She stated that a survey has been sent <br />out from RCLG to assist in its strategic planning and asked that the Council respond. <br />D. Miller provided an update on the most recent meeting of the Cable Commission. <br />ADJOURN <br />There being no further business, upon motion by T. Miller, seconded by I).
