MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />June 10, 1981 <br />M.Fl.C. Properties 9s planning to ~ence this property. The Planner stated <br />that the property is required to be fenced, but it on1y has to be screened <br />where it can be seen from the street. <br />Mrs. Nardini asked the Planner what the requirements would be for fencing <br />the easement. The Planner stated that the easement would be for future <br />road purposes, and that it could be fenced also until such time as it <br />would be needed. <br />Mr. Fahey suggested that the easement be approximately 50 feet wide to <br />conform with Soo Lane. <br />Maureen Gervais, represen~ing Rose and Bill Gervais, appeared before the <br />Council. Gervais asked what type of screening would be required from the <br />Gervais properties. The Planner stated that the Gervais property is <br />zoned industria7, but used for residential. It is not required that <br />industrial property be screened. The Planner also stated that the fence <br />could be eight feet high and right up to the property line. <br />Gervais also asked if there would be any grading done in the area of the <br />Gervais property. M.A.C. Properties replied that no grading activity is <br />planned. <br />Mrs. Nardini introduced the follow9ng resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. ~1-6-277 -CLOSING THE PUBLIC HEARING ON <br />THE M.Fl.C. PROPERTIES RE~UEST FOR ISSUFlNCE OF Fl C,ONDITIOPlAL <br />USE PERMIT FOR OU7DOOR STORAGE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Forsberg. <br />qyes (5) Nardini, Forsberg, Scalze, Fahey, Hanson. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 208, <br />Mrs. Scalze pointed out that this request still must be considered by the <br />Planning Commission. The CSty Planner suggested that the Council could <br />approve the request subject to a favorable review 6y the Planning Commission. <br />The Planner a7so suggested that the Counci1 cons9der the possibility of a <br />cu7-de-sac on the south end of Soo Lane for turn-around purposes. The <br />P1anner pointed out that the City's ordinance prohibits dead-end streets. <br />Mr. Forsberg did not feel ~hat a cul-de-sac was necessary. <br />Mr, Hanson introduced the following resolution and moved tts adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 81-6-278 - APPROVING THE CONDI7IONFlL USE PERMIT <br />FOR M.A.C.
