MINUTES <br />C~ty Council <br />June 24, 1981 <br />Tnvestment Mayor Hanson informed the Councitmembers that there was information in <br />Transfer their agendas regarding an investment transfer that was recently made.. <br />Street Councilman Forsberg informed the Council that the West Winds Addition <br />Lights has requested that seven street 1ights be installed in their area, <br />Council discussed the poss9bility that seven street lights in this <br />area may be too many. Council decided to approve up to seven street <br />lights, subject to the review of Mr. Forsberg and Roger Glanzer of the <br />Utility Department. <br />Mr. Forsberg also reported that street lights have been requested in <br />the area of the Tany Fasciana home on Condit and in the area of the <br />Pastorious home ~,~ Greenbrier. <br />Mr. Forsberg stated that if all the above street lights were installed, <br />it would put the Utility Department over its 1981 budgeted amount for <br />street lights. The City Clerk commented that in 1980 the Utility <br />Department was under its budget for street lights by three. <br />Mr. Forsberg introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 87-6-320 - ORDERING STREET LIGHTS FOR THE <br />AREA ON C NDIT NE R T E TONY FFlSCIANA PROPERTY AND THE AP,EA <br />ON GREENBRIER NEAR TNE PASTORIOUS PROPERTY AMD FURTHER <br />ORDERING UP TO SEVEN STREET LIGHTS FOR THE WEST WIND <br />ADDITION SUBJECT TO THE REVIEW OF MR. FORSBERG AND MR. <br />ROGER GLANZER OF THE CITY'S UTILITY DEPARTMENT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br />qyes (5) Forsberg, Hanson, Fahey, Scalze, Nardini. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book Mo. 7, Page 238. <br />Uti1ity Mr. forsberg reported that the construction of the water meter room <br />Department and maintenance rooms in the City Garage is progressing we11, There <br />Report are some heating changes that will have tn be made, but Mr. Forsberg <br />will bring these up at a later date. <br />The blacktopping at the City Garage has been completed and the fence <br />witl be completed within a few days, <br />Uti1ity Mr. forsberg informed the Council that the Uti7ity Department has <br />Department requested the hiring of one additional part-time summer employee. <br />Summer The Uti1ity Department is proposing that Eric Oualm be hlred for this <br />,ielp position at the minimum wage.
