MINUTES <br />City Council <br />June 24, 1981 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. <br />Ayes (3) Scalze, Fahey, Nardini. <br />Nayes (2) Hanson, Forsberg. <br />Resolution Qec1ared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Reso1ution Book No. 7, Page 239. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following reso7ution and moved its a.doption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 81-6-323 - ASSESSING PARK CHARGES TO <br />HUGNES CONSTRUCTI N 0 $600 PER DUPLEX FlN~ $400 PER <br />FQUR-PLEX <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. <br />~yes (4} Scalze, Fahey, Hanson, Nardini. <br />Nayes (1) Forsberg. <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 240. <br />Hoffman Mrs. Scalze reported that Mr. Hoffman has requested that the $500 due <br />him for his work on the City's warming house that was withheld now be <br />paid to him as all work has been completed. Mrs, Scalze suggested that <br />action be withheld on this request until she speaks to Jim Morelan to <br />determine if all work has been satisfactorily completed, <br />Spooner Mrs. Scalze stated that she would like to clarify for the record a <br />Park statement that was made in the minutes of the May 13, 1981 reguldr <br /> Council meeting. Mrs. Scatze wants to clarify that not all the <br /> damages done in Spooner Park occurred because of Canadian Days. There <br /> have been damages in the Park from loud parties that haye been held in <br /> the park and difficulty of enforcement on the part of the City, and also <br /> there have been problems during school hours. <br />Relocation Mrs. Sca1ze informed the Council that on the morning of June 11 she met <br />Of Post with Paul Borg of the School District, Jim Morelan and 6i17 Sanders to <br />Barr~ers determine the location that the School District wanted the post barriers <br />In Spooner installed in Spooner Park. Mr. Borg wanted the post barriers installed <br />Park on the property line. The location of the property line was determined, and <br /> the barriers were installed there. <br /> Mrs. Scalze also informed the Council that in determining the location of <br /> the property line, it was also determined that the Gilbertson field is <br /> partly located on the road easement in that area. <br />Ryan Mrs. Nardini reported that there is an illegal situation with the <br />Industria1 hook up of three buildings in Ryan Industrial Park to watermain on <br />Park Country Drive. The three 6uildings are connected to water 6y means <br /> of a one-inch plastic pipe that runs from one building to the next and <br /> then on to Country Drive. <br /> The City Engineer suggested that the City install watermain on ~yan <br /> Drive and then connect each building separately to water. The Engineer <br /> also stated that there should be some looping of water lines in this <br /> area at tha.t time. <br /> Page -21- <br />
