MINUTES City Council June 24, 1981 Mrs. Nardini suggested that this improvement be included in the July 22 watermain hearings. Nardini also suggested that the City call for a hearing on the improvement of Ryan Drive by street, curb and gutter at the same t9me. Mr. Ryan previously agreed to improve the condition of the blacktop of Ryan Drive by June or July of this year, and to date nothing has been done. Mrs. Nardini introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0. 81-6-324 - INSTRUC7ING THE CITY ENGINFER 70 DETERMINE THE CONDITI N OF THE WATER SYSTEM IN RYAN IN~USTRIFlL PARK AND FURTHER CALLING FOR Fl PUBLIC HEARING ON JULY 22, 19~1 fOR THE FOLLOWING IMPROVEMENTS ON RYAN DRSVE: WFlTERMAIN, STREET, CURB AND GUTTER The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. Flyes (5) Nard9ni, Fahey, Forsberg, Flanson, Scalze. Nayes (0). Resolution declared adopted. This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 240. City's Mr. Forsberg reported that the City's Uti1ity Department has determined Large through the checking of the large water meters in the City that there Water has been no gallonage recorded for any amount under 4b gallons per minute. Meters The large water meters have been repaired, and the City should recoup its cost for having these meters checked in a very short time, Mary House Mrs. Nardini asked the City Flttorney if he had anything to report with regarding to the Maryhouse matter. The Attorney did not have any further progress to report on at this time. Schrier Mrs. Nardini asked why the minutes of the workshop session with Mr, Schrier were printed in the Free Press. Mrs. Nardini felt that as this was not a Council meeting were action could he taken, but merEly a workshop session, it was not necessary to spend the money to have the minutes printed. Anderson Mrs. Nardini inquired if there was any new information with regard to Development the Anderson development in the City of Maplewood. The City Clerk reported In that he spoke to the Maplewood Engineer and there is nothing new to report Maplewood at this time. Dr. Foss Mrs. Nardini inquired if a letter was sent to Dr. Foss regard5ng his 1and fil1ing activities. The Council previously requested that such a letter be sent. The City Clerk reported that this letter was sent quite some time ago. Twin Lake Mrs. Nardini inquired on the status of the tax delinquent pro~erty along B1v~y, Tax Twin Lake Blvd, The City Clerk stated that he is wait~ng for a report Delinquent from the City Attorney on this property. Property The Attorney informed the Council that he will complete this report as soon as he receives all the in formation on the property. Pana _~9_
