MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 8~ 1981 <br />FLAMEBURGER Mayor Hanson opened the publid hearing pursuant to the Flameburger <br />Conditional Use Permit and Variance. <br />Mr. Robert Madsen appeared before the Council explainimg the <br />purpose of his proposal concerning the additional driveway <br />access. <br />Mr. Anderson, 2550 Rice St., property owner north of the pro- <br />posed development, questioned the drainage problem and wants <br />screening by his house. <br />Mr. Carley, City Enqineer, recommended that the Flameburger <br />parking lot proposal should be worked out as a package, since <br />the entire area will be filled with blacktop. <br />Karen Peterson, 65 W. Demont, property owner adjacent to the <br />proposed development, appeared before the Council with a <br />concern in regards to the drainage problem. <br />Mr. Madsen stated a total privacy screening would not be <br />practical for them. <br />Ns. Fahey directed the Engineer to address the drainage problem <br />concerning the homes. <br />Mr. Nadsen explained that he had a deadline of July 20, 1981 <br />on his purchase option. <br />Mrs. Nardini introduced the following Resolution and moved its <br />adoptio~: <br />RESOLUTION #81-7-333 - CLOSING Z'HE PUBLIC HEARING <br />PURSUANT TO THE FLAMEBURGER CONDITIONAL USS PERMIT <br />AND VARIANCE. <br />The foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Forsberg. <br />Ayes (5) Hanson, Fahey, Forsberg, Nardini, Scalze <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Beok No, 7, Fage 245. <br />Mr. Madsen requested a letter stating the delay so that he <br />will have a legitimate reason to get another extension on <br />his purchase. <br />Page 2 <br />
