MINUTES <br />COUNCIL MEETINGS~ <br />JULY 22, 1981 <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-7-364 - ORDERING IMPROVEMENT N0. 81-7 <br />CALLING FOR WATERMAIN AND STREET RESTORATION ON COUNTY <br />ROAD B-2 FROM ST, JUDE MEDICAL TO JACKSON STREET AND <br />DELETE THAT PORTION WHICH IS 500 FEET WEST OF JACKSON. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Hanson, Fahey, Scalze, Forsberg, Nardini. <br />Nayes (0) <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This Resolution appears in Resolution Book No~. 7, Page 254 <br />IMP 81-8 Mr. Hanson opened the Hearing on Improvement No. 81-8 calling for <br />Sanitary Sewer, Watermain and Street Restoration on Jackson St. <br />from Countiy Road B-2 South 350 feet. This improvement was initiated <br />by Council Action. <br />Mr. Carley presented the plan for this proposal. He estimated the <br />cost would be $50.00 per front foot for the street and $27.00 per <br />front foot for sanitary sewer. The street would be blacktopped <br />with a culdasac to prevent washout. <br />Mr. & Mrs. Paul Borg, 110 East County Road B-2, objected to the <br />improvement. <br />Mr. DesLauries, 2350 Jackson St., objected to the street improvement. <br />Mss. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-7-365 - CLOSING Z'HE HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT <br />N0..81-8. <br />The foregoing resolutio^ was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey. <br />Ayes (5) Hanson, Fahey, Scalze, Forsberg, Nardini. <br />Nayes (0) <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This Resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Fage 255 <br />Mr.. Fahey introduced the followinq resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />RLSOLUTION N0. 81-7-366 - ORDERING IMPROVEMENT NO. 81-8 <br />CALLING FOR SANITARY SEWER, WATERMAIN AND STR~ET RGSTORATION <br />ON JACKSON ST. FROM COUNTY ROAD B-2 SOUTH 350 FEET, wITH THE <br />UNDERSTANDING THAT 7'HE STREET RESTORATION PORTION WOULD BE <br />OF F~RTHER STUDY BY THE ENGINEER AND FURTHER CONSIDERATION <br />BY THE COUNCIL WHEN THE BID5 ARE RECEIVED. <br />Page 4 <br />
