MINUTES <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />August 26, 1981 <br />Mr. Robert Sander, Chairman of the Board, Juran & Moody, Inc., <br />and Bond Consultant for the City of Little Canada for 30 years, <br />addressed the Council concerning the seriousness of this bond <br />issue. <br />YORKTON <br />LARRY Mr. Larry Lee, representing the Yorkton Industrial Park appeared <br />LEE before the Council wlth an architectural model showing a concept <br />of the planned area for the south portion of Yorkton Industrial <br />Park. His purpose for attending the meeting was to make the <br />Council aware of the plan for this area. <br />The Council advised Mr. Lee that support from the people in this <br />area would be necessary to rezone this property. <br />GRANADA Mr. Dave Moris, Developer of Granada Homes appeared before the <br />HOMES Council in regards to the drainage ditch on his Payne Ave. <br />property. He indicated that a swail was graded in the back <br />lots which drains to the north. <br />The Council discussed the footage involved for an easement per- <br />taininq to this ditch. It was recommended that the City Engineer <br />look at this property and have the Attorney check with the <br />residents as to the easement. <br />Mr. DuWayne Schmaltz, a resident of Payne Ave. appeared before <br />the Council in regards to the drainage on his property. <br />Mr. Forsberg asked for a delay in the issuance of building per- <br />mits until the drainage situation is taken care of. <br />Mr. Carley stated that a 10 foot easement would be sufficient. <br />A resident at 3095 Payne Ave. appeared before the Council <br />questioning the future maintenance of the ditch. <br />Leslie Falteisek appeared in regards to the easement on her <br />Payne Ave. property. She was advised that her property was not <br />included in the proposed ditch. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />Page 3 <br />
