MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />August 26, 1981 <br />The foregoing resolution was seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (4) Fahey, Scalze, Nardini, Forsberg. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page Z96 <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 81-8-445 - CHANGING THE DATE OF THE HEARING <br />REFERRED TO IN RESOLUTION NO. 81-8-442~SEPTEMBER 23~ 1981 <br />TO OCTOBER 7, 1981. <br />The foreoing resolution was seconded by Mrs. Scalze <br />Ayes (3) Fahey, Scalze, Nardini. <br />Absent (1) Forsberg. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. ~ <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book No. 7, Page 296 . <br />ENGINEER Mr. Carley reported on the progress of the plans for the watermain <br />improvements. The Rice St. watermain will be completed just before <br />the State improvement on Rice St. and restoration will be taken care <br />of by the State. He also reported that the County will not let us <br />open a road after September 15. This will involve the improvements <br />on County Road B2 and Demont. Bids will be taken in October but <br />work will not be done until next spring. <br />Mr. Carley attended a meeting with the D.N.R, pertaining to an <br />agreement in reqards to the ditch on County Road B2. <br />NOISEY <br />PARTIES <br />PERMIT <br />FEES <br />Ms. Forsberg discussed the use of the City meter by Mr. Peter Costa. <br />Mrs. Nardini reported on the complaints in regard to parties and <br />loud noises on Carla Lane. <br />Mr. Parks discussed a Noisey Party Ordinance which Little Canada <br />does not have. <br />The Council requested Mr. Parks to address a letter to the residents <br />involved in the party complaints. <br />Mrs. Nardini requested the Council <br />according to the UBC rates of 1979 <br />in the plumbing permit fees. <br />to raise the building permit fees <br />She also requested an increase <br />Page 9 <br />
