MINUTES <br />City Council <br />September 30, 1981 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Hanson. <br />Ayes (5) Forsberg, Nanson, Nardini, Fahey> Scalze. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />' This reso7ution appears 9n Resolution Book No. 7> Page 352. <br />Dumpster Council decided to eliminate Free Dump Day in 1982 and thus reduce <br />Budget the budget by $5,000.00. <br />Mr. Flanson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTIOM N0. 81-9-533 - APPROVING THE DUMPSTER <br />PORTIOP! OF THE 7982 PROPOSED CITY BUDGET IN THE <br />AMOUNT OF $9,075.00 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />qyes (5) Flanson> Scalze, Fahey, Forsberg, Nardini. <br />Nayes (0). <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />This resolution appears in Resolution Book ~lo. 7, Page 353. <br />Recreation Council felt that the Temporary Employees portion of the Recreation <br />Budget budget could be reduced. <br />Mayor Hanson asked if the Recreation Department could get a better <br />price on uniforms and equipment by getting one bid on everything. <br />Mr. Morelan stated that it was hard to know what was needed until <br />after registration for each particular activity, <br />Mr. Morelan stated that he would like to add $6,000 in the Capita1 <br />Outlay portion of the budget for light5ng at the skating rinks. <br />Mrs. Nardini stated that the Council wi71 probably be spending some <br />money to purchase the Mary House property this year. <br />Mayor Hanson pointed out that the City budgeted $1n,500 for water <br />improvement at the hockey rink in 1981. This money could cover <br />the water improvement and the purchase of the property. <br />Mr. fahey stated that the Council should put at least $6,000 in the <br />budget for the 7ighting and as a contingency for other improvements. <br />Mayor Hanson suggested that the Council just carry over what money <br />is left in Capital Outlay for 19II1, Fahey stated that the City witl <br />not be able to do everything for the $13,100 that is left in the <br />Capital Outlay fund. <br />Council made the following changed in the Recreation Budget: <br />1982 Budgeted Flmdunt <br />Temporary Employees $16,000.00 <br />Other Cont.
